Summer courses 2016
- Our courses start the week of June 13, 2016 (no class Monday, July 4 – make up on Monday, July 25)
- 5% off if you sign up by Sunday, June 12, 2016.
- Courses are normally about 10-week long but during the summer they are 6-wk long only. Prices are pro-rated.
- No partner necessary but you can bring your friends
- Level 1 classes, no pre-requisite
- Dance Trance Drop-In classes are always ongoing

7.30pm: Lindy Hop Pre-intermediate (level 3)

6.30pm: Ballroom Sampler: FoxTrot, Waltz and Night Club 2step (level 1)
7.30pm: West Coast Swing fundamentals (level 1)
8.30pm: West Coast Swing intermediate (level 2)
6.30pm: Intro to Swing (lvl 1) followed by a 30-minute practice
8pm: Lindy Hop Intermediate (lvl 4)
6.30pm: Salsa Fundamentals NY Style on 2 (lvl 1) followed by a 30-minute practice
8pm: Salsa Ladies Styling and Technique
6.30pm: Dance Trance beginner (drop in)
7.30pm: Dance Trance (drop in)
6.30pm: Salsa Fundamentals (on 1) (lvl 1)
7.30pm: Salsa Intermediate (on 1) (lvl 2)
7.30pm: Salsa Social ($5 or free if you are sign up for a salsa or latin course)

Mindsteppers: Social dancing for Social change. Mindsteppers’s mission is to allow every school in the New Orleans area to offer Ballroom and Social dancing by training their in-house staff. Staff and students will learn Merengue, Salsa, Swing, Tango and Waltz.
Teacher’s training starts Thursday, September 4. Sign up before it is too late!

If you have never been to our space, please walk through our state of the art facility with this virtual tour. We have 4 dance studios ranging from about 700 Sq Ft to 1700 Sq Ft. They all have professional sound equipment, wood sprung/floating floors and mirrors. Our ceilings are 15 Ft tall. Our space downstairs, the Firehouse is perfect for private events and it offers a kitchen area for your catering needs.

Our facility has been designed and built with the dance community in mind. Our award-winning instructors are chosen for their outstanding teaching skills, expertise and warm, personal accessibility. They are experienced teaching dancers at all levels, from total beginners to professional. Finally, they value community-building.
